Waiting for my computer to break

Thu Jun 4, 2009, 1:16 PM
It just randomly freezes occasionally. I've learned a lot about hardware testing in the last week. Still no closer to a reason, but have changed virtually every component now.

I am also endeavouring to spend more time on dA and try to do some writing again. It used to feel good. But I've let it slip recently. Haven't written any poetry for months but have written lots of library software. Mmmm, feels good! Very interesting, eh?

What else can I tell you? I have some bloody wondrous pea plants in flower. Peas before long! Mange tout! I think I will, thank you sir!

Capitalism and religion kill the animals, individuals and society. They can kill you in a variety of ways, slow or quick. There can be no happiness or peace on this planet, no prosperity for the masses, as long as this slavery continues.
Nice icons.

I took the opportunity to eavesdrop on your thread with Bellavery. I apologize. That having been said, I can imagine how zelda on wii would be addicting. Still, you are missed here in this ramshackle electronic community.

Hello my dear. No need to apologise.

Zelda is very addictive indeed. I'm not normally one for computer games, but swinging your arms around and watching the little fella on screen kill orcs is somehow therapeutic.

I like your most recent work, by the way: it seems very bright and up. I will comment more thoroughly eventually.

Yes, I've missed the banter, too. Work has been a nightmare and I've been going to bed early to escape.

I know exactly how that goes. I have to make an effort to do things that are good for me, like spending time with good people and eating good food. Because after work, all I want to do is not work. So taking the bus to someone's house starts to feel like work, cooking feels like work, writing feels like work. But I need a life that is more than working and not working.

We all need that kind of life. I want a life where I'm working all the time but it feels like play. Some days get close. I do enjoy programming.

I don't know yet what would even get me close.
